Welcome to Ideas For Scrapbook Center. This site is the brainchild of Mary Carrol, an avid (and some say rabid!) scrapbook enthusiast. Together with visitors like you, we are building the biggest and best collection of all things scrapbooking.

We offer scrapbooking ideas, scrapbooking inspiration, a bunch of how-to techniques, reviews of the hottest scrapbooking products, and last but not least, tips for getting the best prices to feed your obsession!

You can also find our scrapbooking website reviews (done once a week) where we hope to evaluate all the best scrapbooking websites out there to better help you with both the inspirational aspect as well as the all-important shopping portion of your scrapbooking experience.

No Time To Scrapbook? OMG Me Too!

Ok, this will probably devolve into a rant about having no time to scrapbook, no time to blog, no time to do the 157 other things on my ever growing list.

I set myself the goal of doing a certain amount of posts per day and for the most part I’m sticking to that pretty darn well. (Yay me) But I’ve also found that with all that I’ve heaped upon my very full life/plate, I haven’t had the time to do any scrapbooking. My ‘someday maybe’ list is growing at an astonishing rate, and being the hyper curious and (dare I say) creative individual I am, I’m constantly coming up with more ideas to add to this ‘someday maybe’ list.

How To Scrapbook In Photoshop

Want to learn how to scrapbook in photoshop? The whole digital world of scrapbooking is another animal altogether, and it can be intimidating. But there are definitely some advantages to going digital. No more space issues! You’ll still need to keep your digital scrapbooking supplies organized (on your hard drive), but it’s clean.

A lot of scrappers I know are using hybrids of both digital and paper based scrapbooks, either by downloading ‘printables’ (letters, embellishments, paper patterns etc) or they are scanning their completed scrapbook paper-based pages and sending them digitally to their far-off family members.

Awesome Scrapbook Bling For Your Pages

My new addiction is StumbleUpon (like I need any more addictions!), and I <ahem> stumbled upon this fantastic tutorial. I thought what a great piece of scrapbook bling for your pages. Of course, you’d have to spray this with acid free spray to include it in your scrapbook, but I just thought it was such a cute idea.

Ideas For Scrapbooking Is Now On Facebook!

Well… spin my tail and call me spooky‚ wouldja look at that?

Sometimes I need to be dragged into the current century kicking and screaming. I knew I needed to have a ‘presence’ on Facebook, but between procrastination, that river in Egypt called ‘DeNile’, and my own stupendous laziness, I just kept never ‘getting around to it’.

Of course I had to get my full metal geek suit on and make a whiz-bang cover profile page, because…that’s just the way I roll baby!

So, since I managed to waste, <ahem> spend a ridiculous amount of time fiddling with my fan page, I’m giving myself a day off from posting. So there!

Scrapbooking Layouts And Ideas

Coming up with fresh scrapbooking layouts and ideas can be sort of like coming up with a really good meal. We all have our ‘repertoirs’ of both recipes and scrapbook designs, but sometimes it’s nice to break out of your routine and do something different. And since scrapbooking is such a flexible craft, I like to peruse other peoples layouts and modify them to my own style.
