Watched A Really Mind Blowing Movie Last Night

If you have unlimited energy and are happy with your weight, you can go ahead and skip this post. Scrapbooking is about chronicling your life, and although this is not about scrapbooking per se, it is about life, and more specifically the fuel of life. Food.

I’ve known for a long time now that the food industry does not have our best interests at heart. We are in fact their lab rats. I have personally been on a long journey to extricate myself from the clutches of the American diet. Initially it was for health reasons (I have Lupus). It started by eliminating dairy, then gluten….I even went raw for nearly a year. Now I’m eating the way we’ve evolved to eat. Primal. (aka Paleo). These are not ‘diets’ per se, but lifestyle changes.

So the movie I watched last night was called [easyazon-link asin=”B008MIYKR6″ locale=”us”]Hungry for Change[/easyazon-link]. Not only was this a complete validation of my choices, but it really blew my mind in terms of what’s going on for us chemically and emotionally when we eat. Some really mind blowing stuff.

Two of the interviewees were cancer survivors, and I’ll pretty much watch anything Dr. Christian Northrup is in. I wish I had her as my doctor. She totally rocks.

As far as scrapbooking goes, if you are a traditional scrapbooker and you go to crops….have a look at the scary food that is brought to these events. Consider gifting your scrap peeps with a healthy option. Watch this movie and prepare to get your mind blown. It’s being released October 2, but you can pre-order it at Amazon [easyazon-link asin=”B008MIYKR6″ locale=”us”]here[/easyazon-link].
